3       baculoFECTIN transfection reagent (35 ul)

4       baculoGROW insect cell culture medium (500 ml)

5       TC100 growth medium for transfection (7 ml)

6       Insect Sf9 cells frozen (1 x 10⁷ cells) or live culture (~3 x 10⁶ cells)

The flashBAC genome is genetically optimised to allow the amplification and propogation of only the recombinant virus and not the parent virus.
